Perms and Wedding Dresses.

I want to order a wedding dress online.

I'm not kidding. I love this dress (Somehow it is exactly what I want even without knowing what that looked like!). I found this dress while searching for ideas and inspiration, but I really think this is the dress. I would need to order it online (or visit the boutique in CA) by sending in my measurements. Has anyone ever ordered a wedding dress online or know some who has? Any advice would be appreciated!

My current predicament is further complicated by the fact that I can sometimes be an impulsive person. Part of me wants to order the dress RIGHT NOW, but this impulsiveness has gotten me in trouble in the past and I don't want to add my wedding dress to this list. Because some of my impulsive decisions are quite funny now (after the fact), I figured this would be an appropriate time for a trip down memory lane...

My all time favorite impulse decision is when I got a perm. No.. not like my mom made me get a perm when I was 5... Sarah voluntarily got a perm at the age of 20. 20!!! Who even gets perms post 1987? So anyways, I thought it was a brilliant idea to get a perm, and I pictured myself looking like Kate Hudson afterwards with those beautiful beach goddess waves.

However, below is a picture of me with one of my college roommates. My hair is not at all Kate Hudson. I spent hours straightening my hair to hide it from my mom (and that "I told you so" response that I just couldn't handle!) and finally ended up chemically straightening my hair with a boxed hair kit from Walmart. Those bangs have never been the same since...

My second favorite impulse decision is when I had to get a pet bunny. I had a hard time finding a picture of the little Trixie (here she is with my friend, Carlos). Long story short, it was Easter, I needed a bunny, and then my roommate was allergic/we couldn't handle the little gal. Plus, she chewed up the drawstrings on like all my sweatpants. The story does have a happy ending though... After surviving college life (and almost being named "Pants" - I don't remember why?) Trixie got a new home with my grandparents where she is very happy and spoiled.

My latest impulse decision?

Marrying this guy!

haha JUST KIDDING! (love you!)

But lets not have any impulse decisions in the wedding! Give me advice about ording a wedding dress online ...before it's too late! :)

I love that you are into blogging!!! I dont know about ordering online, but I dont know anything about weddings yet. I'm just a beginner you know.

I too got a perm! However, it was last year and I was 22! I liked it for a little while... now I don't. I straighten my hair now to get rid of it. How can I chemically straighten it with the help of my local walmart?? Do you recommend that? HELP!

Thanks for reading! yay! I have 1 follower! :)

So here's the deal with chemically straightening hair (oh perms.. why do we do this to ourselves?!): It works but it smells really bad. Also, my perm was like super tight (even though I specified kate hudson beachy waves) so it just loosened it enough that I could straighten it without it being a part time job. You have to be careful though because how your hair is when you have the straightener on is how it will be afterwards. For example, if it is laying on your shoulders funny you will have a strange kink in your hair. No joke.. it's kinda funny!

Soo overall, it worked. Your hair will be "funny" until it like grows out, but I figured "funny" was better than my horrendous perm. Good luck bonster. Just be careful if you do it and buy some good conditioner.

Oh the things we do to look beautiful! :)
